I purchased a large and regular meter recently. Shipping from Canada to the US took a few extra days, understandably. The regular size meter went in a small pot containing a Rhoeo Oyster. The meter was easy to use and has taught me that I was incorrectly watering the plant. I was watering frequently with a small amount of water, which wasn't actually reaching the roots. So now I water less frequently, when the Quench helpfully chirps, but soak the plant so that it's getting the water it needs.

The large meter went in a Dracaena tree, which has well drained soil. Unfortunately, the meter did not work, chirping constantly because it couldn't detect the drained moisture. I wrote to the company and not only did they immediately refund me, they haven't asked me to return the product and Andy even sent a personalized video letting me know what my other options were with the large meter. Above and beyond!

I went from 2 houseplants to over 20 in the span of 18 months and making sure they all received water was getting hard. Especially for the plants that didn't show thirst by drooping. I finally took the plunge and I'm so glad I did! Quench has made caring for the most thirsty or temperamental plants so much easier. I had one that was faulty and the owner responded to my message almost immediately and quickly replaced it with an apology, outstanding service!
I do wish there was a 2 hour silence button as it's a bit annoying to wake up to plants beeping nonstop. I'd much rather deal with them after coffee, haha.

I have two Quench meters, and when one started acting up, I reached out to their customer service. They responded quickly, figured out the issue, and resolved my problem in one conversation. Very pleased with the product and very pleased with the customer service.

I had an issue with one of my Quench purchases and thought I would message the company. I got a response almost immediately with a video reply no less. I'm very impressed with the customer service and I love that I can keep my plants living longer because I don't forget to water them. I bought a large supply and I'm going to give them as a gift when I get asked out for dinner. One of them is chirping at me as I type lol

As a plant owner, I have never trusted water meters, often they are not accurate and they stop working. With Quench, a simple chirp can tell me when my plants need water and I can really tell the difference by how healthy my plants are! I can’t recommend this product enough!

Since I know the right time, I no longer have to worry about watering.

This totally helps me take care of my plants and understand when they need water. I was always over or under watering before, and now my plants are thriving.

It would be very cool if there were a Bluetooth component to this, to connect to your phone.

I’ve been impressed with my Quench hygrometers… not least because I now know the word “hygrometer.” They work exactly as advertised, and I’m honestly surprised at how off I was about how often my plants need to be watered. I would say “are thirsty,” but this is a family show.

I used to use a calendar to mark when I watered my plants, and used that as a guide as to when to water next. This was hit and miss - on the designated day, the soil of some plants would still be moist, while others had soil as dry as toast. I decided to give Quench a try, and I'm so glad I did!

I used to water my plants on MY schedule, but now I water them on THEIRS.

And the success I've had with smaller, cheaper plants has given me the confidence to buy larger, more expensive plants - knowing that I'm not destined to kill them with too much, or not enough water!

So far I think the quench are pretty unique. I have them in all my fancy plants, such as my pink princess, white wizard, and so on. They are pretty good for that. I like them a lot. Thank you.

My calathea plants have never looked better! I had a few that were getting too much water and a few that weren’t getting enough. Now that all 6 of my calathea have Quench, they all get exactly what they need and they’ve never been healthier!

Love that I don’t have to keep track of when to water the plants. The Quench device is easy to use and setup. Depending on the plant, you may need to find the right spot to place the device but once it’s set up correctly, it’s very easy to ensure that your plants don’t dry out
